The Hospital is located about 40 km east of Moshi town on the evergreen eastern slopes of Kilimanjaro close to Marangu gate at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level. Several busses and daladalas go daily from Moshi. Good tarmac road goes up to the hospital gate. The hospital has good accommodations and welcomes visitors.
